What is Batang Star Philippines all about?
We are a non-stock, non-profit organization called Batang Star Philippines, Inc. (BATANG STAR) is dedicated to helping the country’s disadvantaged and marginalized little children like the street kids, needy IP-tribal children and disaster victim-kids, including their in-need families and out-of-school youth.
Batang Star’s programs, projects and activities (PPA’s) are both “life-saving and life-changing” interventions aligned to this organization’s seven (7) main/core programs vis-a-vis its Child Development Standards Model.
Advocacy for Street Children
Batang Star Philippines is a proactive advocate for the welfare and rights of street children. This involves working to advocate for laws and initiatives that meet the needs of street children as well as to increase public awareness of the problems they confront.
