Needy Youth Development & Resiliency Program (NYDR Program)
Children and youth who faced legal cases and/or considered as young individuals in-conflict with the law. Their committed criminal act/s, are cause by poverty and extreme poverty situations, they were brought to jail and to government prison youth rehabilitation centers.
Batang Star Counselling Intervention is being provided for them so that they will be given more second chances and be reintegrated to the society without being rejected and discriminated.
NYDR Program desires to provide continuous youth development and counselling support the affected young lads and youth who are in a difficult circumstance. This is to make them fulfilled and responsible professionals as a result of the Batang Star interventions with the support of our donors and sponsors, and Batang Star Youth Vollunteers. Our youth leaders are taught with good values, no bad words, no harmful act and non-violent approaches in dealing with out beneficiaries. God’s word and moral values are vital to make our volunteers abreast in addressing the needy youth concerns.
With this, it is integral in our system in handling the beneficiaries to experience life-saving and life-changing interventions with God’s grace at all times.
